The only access is downriver by raft or drift boat, or upriver by jet boat. You are deep into the wilderness, leaving the family car and all roads behind. The stars at night are brighter without the ambient light of the cities. Wildlife abounds, even at your doorstep. 
Oregon’s wild and scenic lower Rogue River boasts some of the most exciting salmon and steelhead fishing in the Pacific Northwest. Your adventurous nature might prefer a hike to a Native American vision quest, not far from Half Moon’s main lodge. You can also relax in the beautiful main lodge or venture out to play horseshoes, volleyball, visit the garden, or play a round of wilderness golf.
